About

The Third Face is my coaching practice - a reflection of my own journey of growth, reinvention, and resilience. I’m Fad Jamal, and I bring all of my lived experience, professional background, and training into this work. Coaching is not just what I do, it’s how I connect people back to who they truly are.

I have never been one to fit into a single mould. My career has taken me across industries, organisations of all sizes, and working structures - from start-ups to long-standing corporates, from on-site to hybrid to fully remote. I have managed teams, accounts, six-figure projects, and seven-figure budgets, led initiatives across complex business environments, and witnessed firsthand the impact of leadership, team dynamics, and culture on organisational success.

But my path has not been linear. I didn’t go to university - something that set me apart from my peers but ultimately shaped how I view learning, growth, and career development. Being a woman of British-Iranian heritage has also influenced my experience of the workplace, where I’ve had to navigate identity, representation, and bias while forging my own definition of success.

I have gone through three career transitions, experienced three redundancies, and at one point stepped away from formal employment for two years in a consultative role. These experiences have shaped my understanding of resilience, change, and reinvention, and deepened my empathy for those searching for clarity, confidence, and the ability to thrive in uncertainty.

My decision to become a coach was driven by personal experience. I have been through coaching and therapy myself, and continue to do so. I know firsthand the power of self-discovery, challenging limiting beliefs, and stepping into one’s full potential. Coaching, for me is about helping people connect with who they really are and supporting them to navigate work and life with confidence, creativity, and authenticity so that they can flourish.
